PRODUCT	CARMINEX™ OIL SOLUBLE 10%
DESCRIPTION	It is an Oil Soluble Carmine available under the form of a dark red liquid solution, obtained from extract of cochineal (Dactylopius coccus costa), which under certain conditions gives a complex aluminium calcium, salt, known under the name NATURAL CARMINE, emulsified with polyglicerine ester. The colouring principle is the Carminic Acid.

APPROVAL	Carminex™ Oil Soluble 10% is in full compliance with the directives of the European Union Colour n° E 120, the National Formulary and 21 CFR 73.100 for Cochineal derivatives.

CONCENTRATION	10% as Carminic Acid. The concentration is adjusted with natural carriers GMO free.
ANALYSIS	All analysis approved under the FOOD CHEMICAL CODEX II (FCCII).
SOLUBILITY	Carminex™ Oil Soluble 10% is completely miscible in oil with no solid residuals.
STABILITY	Highly resistant to light oxidation, change pH and microbiological attacks. Very stable toward heat up to 130 Centigrade degrees, but unstable above that temperature.
APPLICATION	Food Industry : fats, oils, margarine, snack foods, salad dressings, condiments. The FDA list the carmine among colours permitted in foods, without limitation and exempt from certification.
CONSERVATION	Two years at normal temperature. Store in a cold and dry location (5°-15°C). No refrigeration needed. Prevent from humidity.
METALS	Mercury : Less than 1 ppm. Lead : Less than 5 ppm. Arsenic : Less than 0.1 ppm. Other heavy metals : Less than 20 ppm.
