PRODUCT	CARMINEX™ HIGH CONCENTRATION 65%
DESCRIPTION	It is a Carmine Lake presented under the form of a Red dye powder, obtained from the aqueous extract of cochineal(Dactylopius coccus costa), wich under certain conditions gives a complex aluminium calcium salt, known under the name NATURAL CARMINE. The colouring principle is the Carminic Acid, and is available in high concentrations, even more than 65%.

APPROVAL	Carminex™ High Concentration 65% is in full compliance with the directives of the European Union Colour n° E 120, the National Formulary and 21 CFR 73.100 for Cochineal derivatives.

SOLUBILITY	Carminex™ High Concentration 65% is not soluble in neutral water, diluted acids, ethanol, and propylene glycol but completely soluble in alkaline water.
STABILITY	Highly resistant to light oxidation, change in pH and microbiological attacks. Very stable toward heat up to 130 Centigrade degrees, but unstable above that temperature.
APPLICATION	Food (dairy desserts, processed cheese, ice cream, jams, sauces, processed meat, confectionery, snacks, alcoholic beverage, baked goods), cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. In general, it is suitable for any application for which Carmine High Concentration is needed. The FDA lists Carmine among colours permitted in foods, cosmetics and drugs, without limitation and exempt from certification.
CONSERVATION	Two years at normal temperature. Store in a cold and dry location (5-15°C). No refrigeration needed. Prevent from humidity.
