PRODUCT	CARMINEX™ RED ACID STABLE 40%
DESCRIPTION	It is an organic natural colour obtained from Cochineal extractions (Dactylopius coccus Costa). It is an Ammonium Carminate stable at acid pH which active agent is the Carminic Acid. This product is free of aluminium and calcium, and his main characteristic is to maintain a red stable colour in acidic media.

APPROVAL	Carminex™ Red Acid Stable 40% is in full compliance with the directives of the European Union Colour n° E 120, the National Formulary and 21 CFR 73.100 for Cochineal derivatives.
SOLUBILITY	It is a product easily soluble in water and in alcoholic solutions, keeping in both cases a red shade.
STABILITY	Good stability to the changes of pH, maintaining a red shade between pH 1 to 9. Besides, it shows good stability to light and heat.

APPLICATION	Carminex™ Red Acid Stable 40% is a product specially developed to be used in beverages. Its main characteristic is the stability of its red shade at the changes of pH. It may be used in soft drinks, alcoholic drinks, and some other product where a red colour is needed.
CONSERVATION	Two years at normal temperature. Product should be stored in a dry and cold location (between 5 and 15°C).
CONCENTRATION	Not less than 40% Carminic Acid. Its concentration is adjusted with natural carriers GMO free.
PHYSICO-CHEMICAL SPECIFICATIONS	Particle Size : 100% mesh 200 Moisture : Less than 10% Aluminium : Less than 10 ppm. Lead : Less than 5 ppm. Arsenic : Less than 1 ppm. Mercury : Less than 1 ppm. Other heavy metals : Less than 20 ppm.
